Looks like I'll be losing my Planet GNOME feed in the next few weeks based on the new policy changes. I'll still be blogging at the same frequency, but you'll have to pick up the feed from Blogspot. I've greatly enjoyed the interaction with all of you and hope that it continues.

Why don't you apply for membership Dave?
Your usage, testing and bug reporting of Gnome in such a challenging and interesting setting certainly counts as non trivial, otherwise there is something rotten in the GF.
Dave, without a doubt you deserve foundation membership and should be on PGO.
You have 20 points in GNOME Bugzilla. That's quite a lot and I kindly ask you to consider applying for membership.
I for one would be sad to see you go!
Hi,
I also enjoyed reading your posts because they told about gnome from the point of view of a client/server architecture.
Best
Conrad
I too enjoyed your posts and will try to catch them directly from you site.
While I understand the reason behind the decision to restrict planet gnome membership I find the consequences sad. I prefer plurality over similarity.
Best Conrad
Please apply. Your articles are the ones I like to read most!!
Please apply for Foundation Membership - you are very more than eligible. I've loved reading your posts over the years. You are without a doubt a valuable contributor and member of the GNOME community!
I agree with the previous commenters. Your point of view (of someone trying to deploy Linux and GNOME to a userbase that's too big for personal interaction, and likely too concerned with other things to acquire the technical know-how to self-service themselves) is unique on PGO, and it'd be a loss not to have it.
Please apply as membership, I'd hate losing your posts on pgo, which increases the signal-to-noise ratio considerably
Absolutely apply for membership in the foundation, I'd be happy to sponsor your membership as would anybody else who has commented here, I'm sure!
As a regular reader of planet gnome, I'd miss your posts a lot, especially because of your quite unique perspective.
I'm unsubscribing from planet gnome if your feed isn't included
Dave,
I wish to echo the other individuals commenting and state that I have found your blog posts to be some of the most interesting and useful on pgo. As someone who has worked in IT for many years, I find your stories of deployment, testing and PROVIDING SOLUTIONS for users to be a critical voice on pgo, and the most relevant to me. I will be adding your direct blog feed to my feedreader, and feel a little less interested in the primary pgo feed if you happen to be removed from the aggregator.
Thank you,
Patrick
No way, please apply for membership. your blog is invaluable to the Planet!
As has been said by others I stopped reading planet GNOME as your posts were the only reason I read it. No matter what happens, I will visit this blog often.
